Reynoldsburg based Karate team Druk Sitokai wona total of 44 medals at the  Buckner Midwest Cub 2024 on Saturday, March 2 in Cincinnati, including 10 gold medals, 23 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Druk Sitokai presented 21 players at the event under the leadership of Coach Sensei Yadu Kuikel and official Sensei Tula Dhakal.

Sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Association (AA U) and U S Karate, the Druk Sitokai players played two matches.

The Buckner Midwest Cub is held every year.

The Buckner Martial Arts is a Shito Ryu style karate sport founded in 1972 by Tiffany M.

Druk Sitokai is an organization that represents the sport of Bhutanese people. It is an Ohio-based non-profit organization with a mission to review and revive the history of Bhutanese karate.

“The Nepali speaking Bhutanese karate, which has turned into factions and sub-factions, is envisioned to bring it from a new direction,” said Sensei Madan Druk Shitokai spokesperson for Druk Sitokai.
