The New American Program in partnership with Rise up CBUS will launch One Columbus Culture Day on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Feddersen Community Center, 3911 Dresden Street, Columbus, Ohio from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
The One Columbus Culture Day aims to foster unity, collaboration, and cooperation by building bridges and bringing together residents from all New American communities.
“This diversity helps to make Columbus a beautiful and welcoming place for all,” according to the Department of Neighborhood.
“The new festival, in partnership with our New American Program, will highlight the diverse population of our growing City and promote unity among Columbus residents.”
Guests can anticipate rich cultural performances, food trucks offering free meals from across the globe, and valuable community resources that Rise Up CBUS events have always provided to families over the last three years.
One of the highlights at the One Columbus Culture Day is Deba Uwadiae, publisher of the New Americans magazine who will be performing from one of his recorded songs.
