An advocacy forum “Advocacy in Action: Equality Beyond Borders” focusing on how to identify and address national origin discrimination will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus, Ohio from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
With registration limited to only 75 individuals at no cost, the half day forum is expected to provide insightful discussions and workshops for social workers, advocates, and residents regarding how to identify national origin discrimination and how to address it.
Hosted by the Columbus Community Relations Commission, a local body that investigates complaints of discrimination. In addition, which also hosts annual events to educate the community about the various protected classes in order to prevent discrimination before it occurs.
Light breakfast, lunch, and parking will be provided.
