The City of Columbus New American Leadership Academy, NALA 2023 cohort graduated 19 fellows representing 16 different cultural and national heritage. 

The New American Leadership Academy, is a leadership and professional development program that focuses on civic engagement for new American professionals seeking to empower their communities. 

Fellows from the 2023 Cohort include O. Daniel Ajayi, Taiwo Akinlami, Eternity Ballour, Nene Diallo, Maryan Dualle, Sophia DuGue, Isaac Fameyeh and Hassiba Makour. 

Others are Perla Martinez, Sudi Mohamud, Dolly Munlemvo, Uwitonda Ndikumana, Patrick Osbourne, Hari Pyakurel, Rasheed Rasheed, Demsas Reddae, Joseph Sawo, Lal Agha Shafiq and Zeenath Sheikh.

The 2023 NALA Fellows speak 29 different languages.
