Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther described equity as his motivational drive in leadership as he shared with a panel that included Columbus Councilmember Lourdes Barraso de Padilla, Stephnie Hightower, President, Columbus Urban League, and Adrian Sullivan, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Worthington Industries at the New American Leadership Academy 2022 Alumni Summit
Moderated by Angela An, News Anchor at WBNS 10TV, members of the panel shared how they were able to perform as leaders and manage challenges in their different responsibilities.
In her welcome address, Director, Department of Neighborhoods, City of Columbus, Carla Williams-Scott said alumni of NALA have been contributing greatly and making impact in the city since the academy was inaugurated in 2018.
