Columbus-based nonprofit, Empower our Youth Foundation has invited kids and teens to create art that tells how they feel about the culture that directly values the critical work and brilliance of diversity, acceptance, inclusion, all ethnicities and including the LGBTQ+ community.
“We have a really fun opportunity for kids/teens ages 5-17 years old to celebrate Life and Diversity in our community,” said Tonya Kelly of Empower our Youth Foundation.
“Kids/Teens who are selected will have their art piece shown in the Columbus Museum of Art Sculpture Garden during the Celebrate Life and Diversity Antibullying Fashion Show on Sunday, August 21, 2022.” Tony said that “the deadline to submit an entry is Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 9pm EST,” adding that “the Selection process will begin on April 15, 2022, and Parents/Guardian of Kid Artist selected to participate in the Kids Art Walk will be notified by email on April 25.”
