On March 15, Judge Carl Aveni of Franklin County paid homage to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on her 91st birth anniversary. Last Friday, March 15th, would have been her 91st birthday.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a champion for women’s rights and gender equality, gaining fame in the 1970s for her groundbreaking work. In 1993, she was appointed to the Supreme Court, becoming the second woman to hold this esteemed position. She was born on March 15, 1933, and died on September 18, 2020, at the age of 87.
