Kawther Musa

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, thousands of voters in Ohio State will flock to their local polling places to cast their votes for local and statewide candidates. Campaign Volunteers like Kawther H Musa, a health professional, have been working hard to get new Americans registered to vote, educating them about the election process, the issues at stake, and why it is essential to be informed about current US politics and the events taking place in the community they live in.

Kawther H Musa has become a beacon of hope for the Somalian community and beyond. A young community leader and new American resident, Musa is an advocate for the rights of everyone – not just those in her immediate Somalian community.

From working so hard to spread the word about voting to advocating for education reform and speaking out against injustice, Musa has brought her passionate voice to the fight for equality.

Recently, Kawther visited the city of Gahanna, Ohio, to help register new Americans to vote and to speak with local candidates about their platform. She wants to ensure everyone’s voice matters and advocates to ensure new residents know their voting rights. Working with local candidates to ensure they understand the importance of engaging with minority communities, especially new Americans, is also one of her goals.

Gahanna, Ohio, is a small city with a big heart. Over the past few years, the city has made a concerted effort to embrace and welcome immigrants and refugees into its diverse community. From creating city-wide initiatives to support newcomers to providing resources for language education, Gahanna is becoming a model city for immigrant and refugee inclusion.

This has resulted in a more diverse and vibrant city, with people from all backgrounds coming together to share their experiences and cultures. Gahanna is becoming a beacon of hope for many, providing a safe and supportive environment for newcomers to build a new life.

During her visit, she had the opportunity to meet with local candidates and talk to them about their campaigns and platforms. She also shared her views on the importance of voting and the need for more new Americans to be involved in the political process. Her visit to Gahanna was an inspiring example of how a single individual can make a positive difference in a community.

Kawther H Musa’s journey from her native country to the United States, her inspiring activism, and her plans for future endeavors inspire all of us.

After arriving in the United States, Kawther H Musa quickly realized the importance of advocating for the rights of everyone, regardless of their background. She became a passionate political activist and began canvassing for candidates running for office in her new home.

Kawther H Musa is passionate about making a difference and ensuring everyone has equal rights and opportunities. She believes that by getting involved in the political process, she can help to create a better future for everyone. Kawther H Musa wants everyone to have a voice and an opportunity to make their voices heard.

Kawther H Musa is an inspiring example of what one can do to make a difference in their community. Through her hard work and dedication, Kawther H Musa is helping to create a better future for everyone.

“Gahanna residents, your voice matters! As members of this vibrant community your votes are crucial to shaping the local landscape. By casting our votes, we can influence policies and decisions impacting our daily lives and ensure our needs and concerns are heard”, said Musa.

Musa also added that there are many compelling reasons to support local candidates. Their policies align perfectly with the needs and values of our communities.
