• Franklin County Commissioners celebrate Independence Day
• CCC Columbus Parish moves to new location

Ohio, Franklin County Board of Commissioners has described the Independence Day as a celebration of “our nation’s freedom from tyranny and our own freedoms as Americans.”

“Even as our country sometimes feels very divided, we know that America is a beacon of hope around the world because of ideals like the freedoms of speech and religion, freedom of the press, and to assemble freely and to petition the government,” said the Commissioners in a statement issued by the spokesperson Jodi Andes.

“The commissioners salute all of the men and women serving around the world to preserve those ideals and wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day.”

The President of the Franklin County Board of Commissioners is John O ‘Grady and the two other commissioners are Marilyn Brown and Kevin Boyce.

Also, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) thanked “service members and veterans for their dedication to our Nation’s values and their patriotic sacrifices on the country’s behalf.”

“We also tip our hats to veteran small business owners, who make significant contributions to the U.S. economy and add immense value to their local communities.”

 Celestial Church of Christ, Columbus Parish moves to new location

Celestial Church of Christ, Columbus Parish will formally open its new place of worship Sunday, July 5, 2020 on 2481 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio beginning at 11am.

The Shepherd in Charge, Sup. Evangelist Amos Ojerinde said, ‘the community is invited to be part of the opening and worship at the new place.”

Recently, the church distributed food items to church members as relief during the government stay at home order due to COVID-19.
