WhatsUp Seniors and Recreation gives free gifts to 60 years + June 27
Columbus-based WhatsUp Seniors and Recreation will give out free gifts to the elderly who are 60 years and above on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in a drive-in event at the Parking Lot of 6360 Busch Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio from 2pm.
“We are trying to be of help to African seniors in our neighborhoods that survive the Covid19 period,” said Pastor Bosede Adetunji, the convener of the event.
PTLI holds Fatherhood Toolkit Challenge June 27
Central Ohio Parent Leadership Training Institute, PTLI will give out free toolkits in its “Fatherhood Toolkit Challenge” at 1586 Clinton Avenue, Columbus, Ohio from 1pm to 2.30pm.
“We will be doing a drive through event for fathers and father figures,” said Karla Poole, PLTI coordinator.
“We will hand out a box which is the “toolkit/toolbox” to each car (father, father figure) that drive by the church for pick up on June 27th, 2020. This is similar to how food is being passed out now and they do not get out of your vehicles and we keep social distancing.’
