Over 6,000 voters have requested for ballots through the mail with the commencement of absentee voting, both in-person and by mail, in Columbus, Ohio Wednesday, February 19, 2020 for the March 17, 2020 Primary Election. Early voting will continue at the Franklin County Board of Elections office at 1700 Morse Road Columbus till March 16, 2020.
Spokesperson for the Franklin County Board of Elections Aaron Sellers said the mailed ballots “will begin hitting the mail” Thursday, February 20, 2020 “to coincide with the first day of early voting.”
Some of the contestants that called early at the polling center were Mayo Makinde and Mohamud Jama both of whom are contesting for Ohio House of Representatives seat on Democrat ticket for 25th District.
The early voting will hold at the Morse Road center till March 16, 2020 on weekdays and weekends:
Weekdays, February 19th through March 6th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Final week, March 9th through March 13th from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, March 16th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
