Sudanese-born renowned poet and novelist, Dr. Bushra Al-Fadil visited Columbus, Ohio recently as part of his tour of America and invitation to John Hopkins University where he read and discussed from his book.
Dr Al-FAdli who is on exile in Saudi Arabia is the author of “The Girl Whose Birds Flew Away” which won the Caine prize for African writing. The story was written in Arabic and translated by Max Shmooker.
Al-Fadil also visited the Sudanese communities in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
