
Global nonprofit organization, BAPS Charities will hold its Walk/Run event tagged “Embrace the Spirit of Service. Walk for Your Community” on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park, 400 W Whittier Street, Columbus beginning at 10am.
Registration is now opened for the Walk/Run event to raise funds for BAPS Charities’ five key areas including Health Awareness, Educational Services, Humanitarian Relief, Environmental Protection, and Community Empowerment.
“Driven by our motto, “The Spirit of Service,” the BAPS Charities Walk/Run is an annual event that has raised vital funds for over 20 years,” said Bhargav Trivedi, spokesperson for BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Columbus, Ohio.
“Last year, over 45,000 participants joined the movement, supporting 90+ local beneficiaries including first responders, educational institutions, food banks, and healthcare institutions.”
Bhargav said that “this event is more than just a walk – it’s a platform to unite for the greater good, embrace a healthier lifestyle, and find joy in serving others.”
BAPS Charities is a global charity active in nine countries across five continents. Volunteers drive the efforts, dedicating a portion of their lives in selfless service of others both in their local neighborhoods as well as globally.
