Ohio-based community group, Anambra State Association of Columbus, (ASACO) is expecting guests from all over the United States at its inaugural celebration on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. Mathias Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio beginning at 6PM.
“We are expecting guests from all over the United States at this historic event marking the formal launch of our association,” said Peter Egudo, ASACO official, adding that “it will bring together members of the community for an evening of culture, unity, networking, entertainment, and celebration of our Anambra heritage.”
“The mission of ASACO is to celebrate and promote our cultural heritage through cultural festivals, art events, conduct Igbo language classes, workshops and seminars and community outreach activities.”
Peter Egudo said, “everyone is invited to the inaugural celebration and encouraged to participate in all the activities of the day, including taste of Anambra food.”
