Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has urged high school students who have ideas to start business to do so, saying that “it’s never too early to learn how to turn idea into reality.”
Speaking at an interactive discussion at Beachcroft High School in Columbus, Secretary Frank LaRose said, “Starting a business can seem daunting for many young people, but it’s never too early to learn how to turn an idea into reality.”
With the theme as “The Power of Preparedness: An Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion,” Secretary LaRose shared valuable insights on business development, leadership, and financial literacy.”

Also featuring Dr Regina Keyes, the two guest speakers emphasized how preparation and resilience play a vital role in entrepreneurial success.
The event brought together students eager to explore the world of entrepreneurship and learn firsthand from experienced professionals about the mindset, planning, and dedication required to succeed in business.

Students had the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session and an engaging entrepreneurship trivia game that tested their knowledge of key concepts covered in the SBA (Small Business Administration) Presentation.
Those who answered questions correctly were awarded funds to spend at the Little Sweet Treats stand, adding a fun and rewarding touch to the learning experience.
