“We always knew Columbus was one the greatest sports town in the country,” said David Babner, Cap City Race Director and founder of M3S Sports, “and now we have one of the top Half Marathons!”
The OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) is the flagship event on the M3S Sports annual event schedule. The event also includes the OhioHealth Capital City Quarter Marathon (6.55 Miles) and Columbus Promise 5K (3.1 Miles).
Focused on creating a remarkable celebration of the healthy, active lifestyle, USA TODAY credits the course and the post-race party featuring complimentary food, beverages, and a post-race concert with North to Nashville, as the highlights of this event.
“This event would not be possible without the incredible support of our event partners, City of Columbus officials, Medical Director, Ben Bring and the OhioHealth medical team, and the running and walking community,” says Babner.
“Our goal has always been to create the greatest celebration of the running and walking community and we could not be prouder of this national recognition.”
