A nonprofit and networking facilitator, Northland Alliance, Columbus, Ohio is currently seeking new board members.
The group which meets quarterly on Zoom is especially seeking volunteers who have a strong interest in the Northland community as a whole. Please email Jenny Leal at <jennylinmph@gmail.com> to express your interest.
The Northland Alliance is one of the key organizations in the network of associations that tie Northland together as a region, beginning after the founding of NCC and NABA.
The Northland Alliance has a unique role in heading philosophical discussion and regional direction, undertaking a current/recent effort to modernize Northland’s branding and consider planning for public art.
The Northland Alliance also acts as a fiscal sponsor for civic associations who are not official 501c3 nonprofits registered with the IRS, in cases where these groups want to apply for a grant, such as community garden grants, including Devonshire Civic Association. The Alliance has also “birthed” some new Northland 501c3s including:
- The Morse Road Special Improvement District
- Elevate Northland
- Northland Community House
