As the City of Columbus continues to experience significant growth, one issue that cannot be overlooked is the need for affordable housing.
Therefore, city officials and community leaders continue to recognize the importance of investing in affordable housing for all residents. The recent grand opening of Lockbourne Greene, an apartment community featuring 60 affordable units and onsite daycare, is a cause for celebrating and recognizing the progress made toward the future.
Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, along with public officials, community partners, and business leaders, gathered to commemorate the opening of this new housing development. The project was made possible through sustained collaboration and strong partnerships, a testament to the power of working together towards a common goal.
Lockbourne Greene is more than just a housing complex. It is a symbol of hope and progress for the city of Columbus. With 60 affordable units, this development provides a much-needed solution to the growing issue of housing affordability. It offers residents a safe and comfortable place to call home and access onsite daycare, making it an ideal option for families.
