The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization, NIDO, in collaboration with the Power Parenting® Company will host a two-day parenting event with the theme “The Pop Culture Weights” at the Columbus Main Library, 96 S Grant Ave Columbus on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12, 2022, beginning at 3pm and 1.30pm respectively.
“This tour is an initiative of the Power Parenting® Company and hosted by the Nigerians In Diaspora Organization (NIDO),” said Taiwo Akinlami, Chief Executive Officer of the Power Parenting Company.
“The Power Parenting® Company LLC promotes Parenting Education as a social transformation and nation-building instrument to help African parents, including parents of African descent everywhere to raise children through creating awareness and being conscious of their identity and uniqueness.”
Taiwo Akinlami said the program will help children to be “well rounded in the knowledge of their cultural heritage and globally compliant, capable of interpreting and defining their role and stake in everyday issues of contemporary life, at the highest level possible as global citizens.”
