Columbus, Ohio community leader and advocate Imran Malik has announced to run for a position on the Dublin City School Board.
“I commit to being your inclusive and transparent voice at the school board level and bring the needed engagement, participation, and transparency in the decision-making process at all levels of our administration and governance,” said Imran Malik.
“My strongest leadership skills are bridge-building, open-mindedness, social empathy, and persistence. The values I believe in are integrity, transparent communication, equity inclusion, and service.”
Malik, married with two of the children in Dublin City schools, said “In the last 25 years, I have served and lead multiple community — cultural, faith, and non-profit organizations with a successful record of service delivery and bringing people together.”
“In my professional life, I serve as an Entrepreneur, Technology, and Business Development leader administering multimillion-dollar project deliveries that generate value for stakeholders and services for end-users.”
“My family and I are proud residents of Dublin Ohio and passionate supporters of our Dublin city schools. We have 2 children who are currently attending Dublin schools (Davis Middle School and Scioto High School) and they are staunch ambassadors of our Dublin Irish values and culture. Our oldest one is a graduate from Dublin Scioto High School, class of 2019 and is attending college.”
As first-generation immigrant parents, the wife and Malik, came to the United States in the 90s as immigrant family and international college student (respectively) with belief in the promise of the American Dream!
