As early voting closed Monday, November 5, 2018 with total in-person votes of 54,080, voting in the Tuesday, November 6, 2018 general election will begin in Columbus, Ohio at 6.30 am and end at 7.30 pm.
Voters on the line at all polling locations at 7.30 pm will be allowed to cast their votes, according to the Franklin Board of Elections.
Ohio State will be electing a new governor with Richard Cordray, Democrat and Mike DeWine, Republican running.
Unofficial results will be posted on the website of the board of elections at franklincountyohio.gov after voting closes at 7.30 pm.
The 2018 midterm early votes in Columbus surpassed the 2014 midterm elections of 12,143 votes by 41,937 votes.
