The Columbus City Council has announced that a total of 55 candidates submitted their interests to fill the vacant seat on the Columbus Board of Education when deadline for submission closed Friday, September 28 at 5:00 p.m.
A statement from the Columbus City Schools said that the Board will meet on Sunday, September 30, to review the submissions and discuss the process for selecting a new member.
Those who submitted a notice of interest to fill the vacant seat include: –

The statement also said that the Columbus Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Sunday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m., in the lower-level Assembly Room of the Columbus Education Center, 270 E. State St., Columbus, OH 43215.
