The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization, Ohio Chapter, NIDO will hold a two-day Nigerian International passport event on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Ashland University, Columbus Campus, Ohio.
Over 50 people have already been assisted by officials and volunteers in the pre-processing stage of acquiring or renewing the Nigerian passport in the last two weeks with the last exercise holding on Saturday, April 21 at the AU, Columbus Campus from 12pm to 4pm.
Online processed applications are also being received by the officials for transfer to the Nigerian Consulate in New York.
Electronic Mail monitored by the New Americans magazine revealed that, “any application not received by the 21st, cannot be guaranteed a spot during the biometric event days of April 27 and 28,” adding that, “we absolutely do not have the capacity to start applications process for applicants on the biometric event.”
It said that, “to those who have completed the process through us and submitted necessary paperwork, an email will come out shortly on selecting preferred schedule and event details.”
