With hundreds of patrons and potential patrons in attendance, the Pathibhara Mata Community Spiritual Healing Center held its grand opening on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in a 20,000 square feet space at Americana Parkway, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

“It is open for all our community members irrespective of race, ethnicity, culture and religion,” said Kashi Adhikari, Executive Director of the center.

“The center is committed to providing community services and doing tremendously good jobs in terms of supportive healing in metal health, stress disorder, bipolar situation, bad dreams and not having good sleep, appetite loss, and back aches.”

Kashi said that “other community services provided at the center include adult care services, transportation services and spiritual services which is part of the community.”

“This is a one stop community center where people can come for community resources, spiritual healing, socialization, therapy, yoga, meditation and other community services.”

He expressed appreciation for the support received from the other community leaders, state legislators, and the media.”

The Spiritual Leader Dhak Rasali prayed for peace, love and healing for all that came to the grand opening. He presented flowers and special garlands to the Executive Director of ETSS, Dr Seleshi Asfaw, Community Leader Besa Sharrah and the publisher of the New Americans magazine, Deba Uwadiae.

The Executive Director of the Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services, ETSS said “this is a needed community resource center in this part of Ohio, and I commend the efforts and hard work of the coordinators, Kashi and Nirmala Adhikari.’

Also, Besa Sharrah described the opening of the center as “honored to be part of the grand opening. This is an incredible event. I am very proud of Kashi and his community for making this happened.”

“We’ve all had all these challenges, coming to America for a better future, and brought our parents with us and they they are there being disconnected from the community. The ability for them to have a place that they can come and address both their physical and spiritual needs is just amazing.

“I am hoping that this kind of example can be replicated around the central Ohio community. Our elders and seniors have so many values and attributes that they can contribute to our society to be able to gather from them and have the ability to cultivate it for the next generation.”
