Ohio State Senator Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield) has honored the Clark County Special Olympics Volleyball Team on winning the 2025 State Championship with a recognition award on the floor of the Ohio State Senate.
“It is my honor to celebrate this championship winning team before the Ohio Senate,” said Senator Koehler.
“The tenacity and ability shown by these athletes is outstanding. All of Clark County is incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by this remarkable team.”
Competing in the State Summer Games 2025 in Columbus, the Clark County Volleyball Team won the state championship over Pickerington to complete an undefeated season.
Organized through Development Disabilities of Clark County, the team was led in this championship season by volunteer head coach Kathryn Chambers.
