Moments after officially announcing running for Ohio Governor, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy received endorsement from President Donald Trump and DOGE Coordinator Elon Musk. Vivek announced joining the Ohio governorship race in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio.

“VIVEK RAMASWAMY is running for Governor of the Great State of Ohio. I know him well, competed against him, and he is something SPECIAL. He’s Young, Strong, and Smart! Vivek is also a very good person, who truly loves our Country. He will be a GREAT Governor of Ohio, will never let you down, and has my COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT!” said President Donald Trump.

Also, Vivek former colleague at Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, Elo Musk endorsed him saying, “Good luck, you have my full endorsement!”

“I’m truly honored to have your endorsement. We’re behind you all the way and we will Make Ohio Great Again!” Vivek responded to President Trump.

At the campaign in New Albany, Columbus, Ohio, Vivek said “I want Ohio to become the leading state in the country to grow a business; the leading state in the country to raise a young family; leading state in the country for kids to get a world-class education, starting from a young age, where they excel in math, reading, writing, and critical thinking.

“The leading state in the country where we give young people the tools to be victors (not victims) in a global economy; the leading state in the country where we embrace capitalism and meritocracy, instead of apologizing for it; the state where we take a hatchet to red tape and regulations; the bleeding-edge of innovation in the sectors of the future, from aerospace to AI to semiconductors,” he said.

He promised to make Ohio “the state where patriots across the country pack their bags to flock to, instead of Florida and Texas; I want Ohio to become the State of Excellence.”

Present at the campaign to support Vivek Ramaswamy were Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose and Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber.
