As the Columbus Chapter of Pakistan Children ‘s Heart Foundation of North America (PCHFNA) gets ready to host its 4th Annual Fundraiser event this Sunday at the Bob Crane Facility in Upper Arlington, the cricket fraternity and host families are excited to be hosting two legendary cricket stars of Pakistan international.
Misbahul Haq is also the brand ambassador of this initiative of building the first fully operational and functional Congenital Heart Hospital of Pakistan. This project has connected Pakistani community and cricket lovers across America bringing the spirits of ‘paying it forward’ into true spirits of action and conviction.
Imran Malik, the Columbus City Hall of Fame inductee is the collaborator of Columbus chapter and has been working with many local physicians, philanthropists and cricket lovers of the multicultural community fabric across all backgrounds to raise awareness about this cause and engage all demo-graphs.
Groups of host families are excited to be hosting this event for the 4th consecutive year, and the hopes are to continue this engagement cycle of giving back to the children of Pakistan, a fair chance to life and its full potential in fighting the congenital heart disease.

Knowing that our efforts can help provide life saving care to a child who desperately needs it is an incredible, meaningful and humbling privilege. I support PCHFNA because their work truly saves lives. Volunteering at their annual fundraiser each year reminds me just how meaningful their mission is, and hearing how many children have received life‑saving treatment because of their efforts reinforces why this cause matters to me.
“Congenital heart disease is incredibly complex, requires immense resources and highly trained specialists. Before PCHF, Pakistan lacked a dedicated facility capable of handling these intricate cases. Today, PCHF has established the country’s first dedicated, state-of-the-art Children’s Heart Hospital and Research Institute, providing comprehensive medical services with fully funded or deeply subsidized heart surgeries. Inspired by their vital work, I joined the PCHFNA team to raise critical funds, and awareness so no child needing life saving heart surgery is ever turned away.”
