By The Ohio Association for Justice has appointed Columbus-based Attorney, Emmanuel Olawale, to serve on its Board of Trustees for the May 2026 through June 2027 term.
The Ohio Association for Justice’s mission is to protect and promote all Ohioans’ right to a fair and impartial justice system, including their constitutional right to trial by jury, through advocacy, education, and training.
“I am deeply honored to announce my appointment by the President of the Ohio Association for Justice to serve on its Board of Trustees for the May 2026 through June 2027 term,” said Attorney Emmanuel Olawale while announcing the appointment on his social media handle.
“This appointment is not simply another accomplishment. It is a reminder that our beginnings do not determine our destination. Serving on the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Association for Justice is another opportunity to give back to a profession that has given so much to me.”
Recalling his journey and circumstances leading to becoming an Attorney, Emmanuel Olawale said “when I arrived in the United States nearly three decades ago, I could not have imagined that one day I would be entrusted with helping lead one of Ohio’s most respected legal organizations. I arrived with dreams that were much larger than my circumstances.
“Like many immigrants, I had to begin again, working, learning, adapting, and believing that every sacrifice would one day become the foundation for something meaningful.”
Olawale said “the law gave me more than a career. It gave me a platform to stand beside people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. It allowed me to fight for families seeking safety, individuals searching for opportunity, and victims whose lives had been forever changed by the negligence of others.”
“Every client entrusted me with a piece of their story, and each one has shaped the lawyer and the man I have become.”
He expressed “sincere gratitude to OAJ President Allen Tittle, the leadership, and the members of the Ohio Association for Justice for their confidence in me. I am humbled by this appointment and eager to serve with integrity, diligence, and purpose.
“I look forward to serving the members of OAJ and the people of Ohio with the same commitment that has guided me throughout my legal career. I look forward to working alongside outstanding lawyers who are committed to protecting the rights of ordinary people, strengthening our civil justice system, and ensuring that justice remains accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.”
