The New Americans Magazine has announced its official invitation to community leaders, elected officials, business partners, and residents for its 10th Anniversary Gala Night, scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Felbry College School of Nursing, 6055 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. The celebration will run from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Gala Night are open online at Eventbrite.
“This celebration is not only about the magazine’s journey, but about the individuals and organizations whose stories and leadership have defined our mission, including City of Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, one of our early interviewees in the magazine who will be giving the keynote address at the Gala Night,” said Publisher Deba Uwadiae.
“We are honored to welcome community and political leaders as we launch the next decade of storytelling, connection, and community impact.”
For ten years, the New Americans Magazine has chronicled the stories, achievements, and contributions of immigrants and refugees who have made Ohio their home. The publication has become a trusted platform for first‑generation entrepreneurs, educators, artists, health professionals, and public servants—amplifying voices that shape the cultural and civic landscape of Central Ohio.
The upcoming anniversary marks a major milestone for the publication and the communities it serves.
Guests attending the Gala Night will join honorees, readers, and supporters in commemorating the publication’s decade‑long role in documenting immigrant experiences and fostering dialogue across diverse communities.
The New Americans Magazine expressed gratitude to leaders across the city and state for their continued support of the communities that enrich Ohio’s social, cultural, and economic fabric.
