Election 2016: Columbus moves close to 200,000 votes
With combined votes cast of 191,334 representing 144,965 returned absentee ballots and 46,369 in person votes, Franklin County, Columbus, Ohio is fast accelerating towards 200,000 votes before Tuesday, November 8, 2016 Presidential Election. This represents about 22.79 percent of the 839,358 registered voters in Columbus, Ohio as the days count down to 7.
A breakdown of returned absentee ballots made available to TheNewAmericans shows that the Unaffiliated have returned 60,754 of the 90,918; Green Party returned 149 of 208; Libertarian returned 80 of 113; Republican returned 36,784 of 49,981 and Democrat returned 47,218 of 55,251.
Voting at the Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio Early Vote center is now every day, including Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6 till Tuesday, November 8.
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama will be campaigning in Columbus, Ohio today at the Capital
University beginning 4pm for the Democrat Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton and other contestants, including United States Senate aspirant Ted Strickland.
