Anambra State Association of Columbus (ASACO) Holds Inaugural Celebration July 25

Ohio-based community group, Anambra State Association of Columbus (ASACO) will hold its inaugural celebration on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. Mathias Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio beginning at 6PM.

“This historic event marks the formal launch of our association and will bring together members of the community for an evening of culture, unity, networking, entertainment, and celebration of our Anambra heritage,” said Peter Egudo, ASACO official.

“The mission of ASACO is to celebrate and promote our cultural heritage through cultural festivals, art events, conduct Igbo language classes, workshops and seminars and community outreach activities.”

Peter Egudo said, “everyone is invited to the inaugural celebration and encouraged to participate in all the activities of the day, including taste of Anambra food.”

“As part of the event, ASACO will also publish a commemorative inaugural brochure. We welcome advertisements, sponsorships, and goodwill messages. Please contact us on 6146715278 for brochure and sponsorship details.”

Anambra State is in southeast Nigeria, with an estimated population of about 5,084,195 (2015 Census estimate). Anambra is the tenth most populous state in Nigeria.
