GhanaPicOhio celebrates 20th Anniversary Aug. 12

Ghanaian descent residents in Columbus, Ohio will celebrate the 20th Ghana Picnic Ohio at the Maloney Park, Joyce Avenue, Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10AM to 8PM.

“Our focus is to elevate the African presence in Columbus through our African personalities who have gracefully and exemplarily served our community,” said Kwabena Boamah of the GhanaPicOhio.  

A soccer gala has been slated for the 2023 celebration with kick off at 11am.

With the support of the Columbus Recreation and Parks, others expected at the picnic include the Jesus Power Assembly of God, All Nations Baptist Church International, Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Church of Pentecost Ebenezer, United Methodist Church, Christ International Community Church (CICC), Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Calvary Defending Champ., and Ramseyer Presbyterian Church.
