
Ohio Department of Development and TourismOhio will Tuesday, May 12, 2026, kick off Ohio’s summer travel season at Ohio Tourism Day 2026 at the Ohio Statehouse, West Lawn, Columbus, Ohio from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
This annual event will feature more than 130 exhibitors on the Statehouse West Lawn, showcasing destinations, experiences, and attractions from across Buckeye State.
Tourism is a major economic driver for Ohio—supporting thousands of small businesses, creating jobs, and fueling the state’s economy.
Tourism Day marks the start of summer travel season and highlights new resources, including the 2026 Ohio Travel Guide.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from destinations, attractions, visitor bureaus, and small businesses from across the state—offering insight into how tourism in Ohio is benefitting communities and what travelers can look forward to this summer.
