Families, entrepreneurs, artists, and community members gathered at Total Crossing Mall for a vibrant and unforgettable celebration during the Global Roots Mother’s Day Market, organized by Zeenath Global Roots Market. The event brought together women and families from many different cultural backgrounds, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity, love, tradition, and entrepreneurship.

The market showcased vendors and small businesses representing countries including Palestine, Somalia, Morocco, Pakistan, and many others. Visitors had the opportunity to experience international fashion, handmade products, skincare, jewelry, art, and authentic cultural foods while celebrating Mother’s Day in a warm and welcoming environment.

One of the highlights of the event was meeting Moroccan skincare entrepreneur Laila Salih, who shared her Moroccan-made skincare products and traditions. Guests were able to learn more about natural beauty products and cultural wellness practices passed down through generations.

Another unforgettable presence at the market was Malimar Clothing and Art Designer Dr. Hoda Z. Amer, MD, FCAP, whose fashion designs and artistic storytelling beautifully reflected the rich history and culture of Egypt. Her work inspired many attendees as she shared the meaning and creativity behind her designs.

The Children and Youth Fashion Show became one of the most memorable moments of the day. Young participants proudly walked throughout the mall wearing traditional clothing representing their countries and cultures. The fashion show celebrated diversity, heritage, and confidence among youth while bringing smiles and applause from the crowd. The excitement and pride displayed by the children created a truly emotional and uplifting experience for everyone in attendance.

Perry’s Media Production LLC had the honor of participating in the celebration by capturing photography moments throughout the event, building new relationships, and collaborating with local businesses interested in future photography and media production services. The event also opened doors for new creative opportunities, including an invitation to visit a family farm in Marysville to discuss future videography projects.

“This Mother’s Day was filled with love, courage, culture, and connection,” said Irina Perry of Perry’s Media Production. “Seeing families and businesses from different backgrounds come together in one place was truly inspiring.”

Special thanks were extended to Deba Uwadiae for sharing the opportunity and helping create an event that celebrated women, culture, entrepreneurship, and community collaboration in such a meaningful way.

The Global Roots Mother’s Day Market served as a reminder that diversity, creativity, and community can bring people together in powerful ways — creating lasting memories for families and businesses alike.
