The TeacherFIRE™ Revolution Holds October 4

Posted by: New Americans Magazine , October 1, 2025

The 2025 edition of The TeacherFIRE™ Revolution, an annual global gathering in commemoration of World Teachers’ Day will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The virtual event will be livestreamed online at 6PM West African time and 1PM Eastern Time.

“This year’s event promises to be a defining moment for teachers, parents, school leaders, and stakeholders in education,” said Taiwo Akinlami, founder of The TeacherFIRE™ Revolution.

With the theme: “The S.A.F.E Schools Projects®: The Science & Culture of Child Safeguarding & Protection in Education…The Role of Today’s Teacher, From Safety to Safeguarding” the event has grown into a global movement dedicated to celebrating, equipping, and restoring the dignity of teachers.

According to Taiwo Akinlami, “It’s a twofold vision: first, to uphold the dignity of teachers as a cornerstone of child protection, and second, to help teachers move beyond ministering only to the head of the child—the seat of technical skill and knowledge—and begin to minister also to the heart of the child, where values are shaped.”

“In this way, the Revolution raises complete children who can combine values with numbers: grounding themselves in integrity and character while embracing technical competence, innovation, and contribution.

“It is those who can marry values with numbers who ultimately thrive in families, communities, societies, and across the world.”

Over the years, the TeacherFIRE™ Revolution has reached and trained more than 25,000 teachers and school leaders across Nigeria and beyond. It has earned validation from UNICEF, APEN, NAPPS, and other leading educational stakeholders, and has made measurable impact in prestigious schools and communities across Africa and internationally.

Speakers at the virtual conference include Convener: Mr. Taiwo Akinlami – Family Attorney, Keynote Speaker: Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo – Former Commissioner of Education, Lagos State; Guest Speaker: Mr. Celal Sarikamis – Principal, Horizon Science Academy, Columbus Elementary; Guest Speaker: Mrs. Ronke Posh Adeniyi – Director, Le Poshe School and Co-Convener/Speaker: Mrs. Olufunmilayo Akinlami – Business Executive and Leading Child Safeguarding Expert.

Expectation

1.    Practical steps to help teachers evolve from Head Teachers to Heart Teachers.

2.    A redefinition of the teacher’s role as society’s most powerful nation-builder.

3.    The unveiling of the T-E-A-C-H-E-R’s Traits, distilled from the biographies of extraordinary teachers across history.

4.    A transformative experience to engender the confidence of parents, communities, and schools in our educational system.

It promises to be power-packed, life-changing, revolutionary, and of great benefit to everyone who attends and participates.

Registration is free via the link: https://tinyurl.com/TeacherFIRERevolution2025

“Registration makes you eligible for exclusive materials during and after the conference and connects you to our community of educators, parents, and leaders committed to Securing A Friendly and Protective Environment® for our precious children,” said Taiwo Akinlami.
