Teays Valley High School Brings Talent and Community Together in Ashville

The auditorium at Teays Valley High School was filled with energy, music, and community pride as students from across Ohio gathered for an exciting high school competition that celebrated performance excellence and teamwork. 

Hosted in the heart of Ashville, this annual event brought together talented young performers who demonstrated months of preparation, discipline, and dedication. Families, educators, and community members packed the venue to cheer on their schools, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and friendly competition.

Mayor Ginther, ADAMH, and Ohio Health Officials Strengthen Community Mental Health Response

Leaders from across Central Ohio gathered at the Crisis Center in Columbus for a focused conference addressing the growing need for coordinated mental health and crisis intervention services. 

The event brought together Mayor Andrew Ginther, representatives from the Ohio Department of Health, and leadership from the ADAMH Board of Franklin County to discuss strengthening behavioral health systems and improving access to care for residents in crisis.

Columbus High School Students Job Fair Connects Community with Career Opportunities and Workforce Resources

Columbus residents seeking employment opportunities, career advancement, and workforce resources gathered today at the Columbus Metropolitan Library – Main Branch for a dynamic job fair that brought together major employers, community organizations, and public service agencies under one roof. The event created a welcoming space where job seekers could meet recruiters face-to-face, explore career pathways, and access essential support services designed to strengthen Central Ohio’s workforce.

A wide range of organizations participated, offering opportunities across industries including energy, banking, public safety, education, and workforce development. Among the key participants were AEP Ohio, OhioMeansJobs Franklin County, KeyBank, Franklin County Commissioners Human Resources, the Columbus Division of Police, and the college-access organization I Know I Can, along with many additional vendors committed to empowering job seekers.
