United Way, ETSS, Thoughtwell partner on pathway for professional immigrants

The United Way, ETSS and Thoughtwell are partnering in identifying ways to integrate foreign trained professionals to Central Ohio workforce through a public survey tagged “refugee-immigrant-professional survey –http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4251203/Refugee-Immigrant-Professional-Survey .

The survey coordinator, ETSS “is expected to use the data to develop program, impact policies and develop alternatives for New Americans who were trained as and/or worked as professionals in their former abode, but are unable to work in their chosen fields in the U.S.” said ETSS Executive Director, Dr Seleshi Asfaw.

According to him, “the goal is to build additional pathways and make policy changes to assist New Americans to find employment in more closely aligned careers.”
