Sports: Michigan suspends activities for two weeks

The University of Michigan has suspended all sport activities for two weeks due to a variant of the coronavirus found in some individuals linked to the athletic program.

All athletic personnel, coaches, and players have been instructed to quarantine during the period.

Michigan would be forced to cancel or reschedule upcoming games during the two-weeks.

Some of the games affected include Men’s basketball, Women’s basketball, Men’s hockey, Men’s wrestling and Gymnastics.
