Liberians In Columbus Inc. Loses Board Member Benjamin Tarr

The Liberian community in Columbus, Ohio, is mourning the loss of Honorable Benjamin Tarr, a highly respected Liberian-American community leader who passed away on October 20, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.

Tarr was Assistant Executive Director of Liberian in Columbus, Inc., and contributed significantly to the growth of the Cultural Fusion Festival and thousands of LICI events over the years.

”His dedication and contributions to the community will forever leave a lasting impact on many lives,” said LICI Incorporated.

Liberians in Columbus, Inc. has requested that everyone pray for his family during this difficult time. As the community comes together to support the Tarr family, they’re also celebrating the life and legacy of this remarkable individual.
