Kawther Musa concedes, congratulates Christine Cockley for winning Ohio House District 6 Democrat primary ticket

Columbus community leader Kawther Musa who contested the Democrat primary ticket for Ohio House District 6 has congratulated Christine Cockley for winning the primary election.

“Last night’s results may not have been what we hoped for, but I stand here with immense pride and gratitude. Congratulations to Christine Cockley on her victory—may her tenure serve our community with the dedication it deserves,” said Musa Kawther.

“To my incredible volunteers and staff, your passion and hard work have been the backbone of this journey. Together, we’ve sparked conversations, built relationships, and laid the groundwork for a brighter future. Every early morning and late night, every door knock and phone call, you’ve shown what it means to believe in a cause.”

Kawther said the “campaign was built on hope, on the belief that our collective efforts can bring about change. That doesn’t end here. I am inspired by your support and humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me. Let’s continue to work towards the vision we share for our community.”
