ETSS, OSU Medical partner on vaccination to serve New American community

  • Columbus Public Health has 4,000 available vaccine appointment slots

The ETSS, New American Community Information Center, NACIC with OSU Medical Center/East Hospital are partnering to have designated dates for covid-19 vaccination for new Americans who are 50 years and above at Ohio State East Hospital 1441 Phale D. Hale Drive, Columbus, Ohio.

“Those eligible to sign up for vaccination appointments should be at least 50 years old,” according to ETSS Executive Director Dr Seleshi Asfaw.

They are expected to live in the following zip codes: 43201, 43203, 43205, 43206, 43207, 43211, 43215, 43219, 43222, 43223, and 43224.

Meanwhile, Columbus Public Health has 4,000 available vaccine appointment slots beginning Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Ohio fairgrounds, Columbus.

“Call to register at 614-645-1519 opening Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM and Saturday 9AM-4PM or go online Columbus.gov/coronavirus,” said Maryan Abbi Dualle, Executive Director, Global Health Education and Development.
