DNC holds New American Town Hall meeting in Columbus Oct. 14

The Democratic National Committee, DNC will hold a town hall meeting with the new American communities in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Mozart’s,  4784 N High Street, Columbus,Ohio beginning 3.30 pm.

Expected at the meeting are DNC Chair Tom Perez, DNC CEO Seema Nanda and Ohio Democratic Chair David Pepper.

“This is an opportunity for New American communities to interact with Democratic Party leaders and exchange ideas on ways to mobilize New American voters in 2020,” said the DNC invitation.

Part of the issues to be discussed includes the current “culture of hatred towards immigrants and New Americans”.

“The 2020 election cycle is our opportunity to fight back and elect a Democrat who will value the contributions New Americans have made to our country,” it said.

The event will start with a short networking session and special remarks from our VIP guests. The agenda includes ample time for attendees to ask questions and share ideas on how to engage and organize their communities for the 2020 elections.
