The City of Columbus will open registration for the Summer Camp Community Center Playgrounds on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, with the on-site registration beginning at 12:30 p.m., and online registration beginning at 7 p.m. The Community Center Playgrounds will provide breakfast, lunch and snacks daily throughout the duration of the camp, June 9 – August 1, 2025.
“These free action-packed, eight-week programs offer all the excitement of a summer camp with a relaxed environment,” said the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks.
Playgrounds run from June 9 – August 1, and will take place at Barack, Blackburn, Douglas, Glenwood, Holton, Marion Franklin, Milo-Grogan, Sullivant Gardens and Thompson community centers.
“Campers will enjoy thrilling field trips, refreshing swimming days and unforgettable special events while making new friends and lasting memories.”

Campers are advised “not to forget to pack a water bottle labeled with your camper’s name so they stay hydrated during all of the fun. Join us this summer for an experience filled with laughter, adventure, and endless opportunities to play.”
