Columbus Neighborhood Best Practices Conference holds Saturday, Dec. 2

The 2023 Columbus Neighborhood Best Practices Conference will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Columbus State Community College Event Center, 315 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio beginning from 9am to 1.30pm.

With the theme as “Stronger Together-Building Healthy, Equitable and Resilient Neighborhoods” the conference will honor winners of this year’s 20 Under 20 Award for their contribution to their communities through exemplary acts of advocacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and volunteerism.

Every year the Honorees are selected based on:

  • Artistic/Educational Endeavors
  • Community Involvement & Volunteerism
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Leadership Skills & Roles
  • Professional & Personal Achievements
  • Commitment to making a long-term positive impact in the community

The Honorees are expected to receive:

  • An award plaque
  • Connections with other like-minded students
  • Recognition from the Mayor
  • Service Project & Internship Opportunities
  • Participation in a leadership short course hosted by Columbus professionals from a variety of Industries.
