Columbus Hosts NIDOA Annual General Meeting 2025 October 24-26

The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO), Ohio Chapter will host the NIDOA Annual General Meeting 2025 in Columbus, Ohio from Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Morse Road, Columbus.

With this year’s theme as “Mobilizing the Diaspora, Maximizing the Impact,” delegates from different districts in the United States will start arriving to Columbus, Ohio on Friday, October 24, 2025, and are expected to be welcomed by the Ohio Chapter’s members led by the President Sonje Calamese.

Activities for Friday include registration, entertainment and networking.

Day 2 on Saturday, October 25, 2025, will have two sessions with the first starting from 10am. The first session will discuss leadership, governance, and collective impact while the second session will be on Annual General Meeting Business.

A gala night will be held in the evening starting from 5pm with programs including NIDOA-led initiatives and investment partnerships, award presentations and cultural performance.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Americas (NIDOA) was formed in the year 2000 with a vision to harness the expertise, knowledge base, skills, networks, and economic strength of Nigerians resident in the diaspora.

The organization is a global body operating by a continental structure. NIDOA is the continent of the Americas and a driving voice of Nigerians in diaspora global presence, currently active in USA, Canada and Brazil.
