Columbus begins Early Absentee Voting Tuesday, Apr. 10

The Franklin County Board of Elections, Columbus, Ohio has announced Tuesday, April 10, 2018 as the commencement day  of Early Absentee Voting for the May 8 Primary Election.

Spokesperson for the Board of Elections, Aaron Sellers said that, “In-person early voting will run from Tuesday, April 10, 2018 through Monday, May 7, 2018 and take place at the Franklin County Board of Elections located at 1700 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio.”

The time, he added,” are: –

Weekdays, April 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through April 27;

Final week, April 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. through May 4;

Saturday, May 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m;

Sunday, May 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m; and

Monday, May 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m”

He said that, “registered voters can view their sample ballot by visiting our website at http://vote.franklincountyohio.gov,” adding  that  “Voters planning to cast a ballot by mail must request one by May 5.”

Applications are available online at http://vote.franklincountyohio.gov, at public libraries or by calling the Board of Elections at (614) 525- 3470. Voters can track and receive notifications on mailed ballot status by going to http://franklincountyvotes.com. You can sign up and receive notifications via email, SMS (text) or voice.
