Bridge Gate Community School students join Columbus Crew victory parade

The students of Bridge Gate Community School , Columbus, Ohio were filled with joy and excitement as they witnessed the victory parade of Columbus Crew, 2023 Major League Soccer (MLS) Cup champions.

This unforgettable experience was made even more special as they were able to join in the festivities alongside the supporters, fans, partners, and members of the Columbus Crew and players.

For many of these young fans, it was their first time seeing a professional sports team’s championship carnival, making it a truly unforgettable and memorable moment.

The Columbus Crew defeated Los Angeles FC 2-1 on Saturday, December 9th, to win their second Major League Soccer Cup in three years, but their third overall. 

The parade kicked off at noon, as fans lined up along Nationwide Boulevard to show their support for the club. The procession continued along Nationwide Boulevard, with speeches from coaches, players, and other important figures, before culminating at Lower.com Field.

It was a joyous celebration of the team’s hard work and dedication, and the fans’ unwavering support throughout the season.
