“Heroes Fight Hunger” Food Drive Holds Sept. 13 at all Kroger Locations in Ohio

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, the Kroger Co., and law enforcement agencies from across the state are teaming up to fight hunger by hosting a one-day food drive on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Kroger locations in Ohio.

The event, “Heroes Fight Hunger,” hosted by Kroger, is a collaboration between the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association, Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

First responders will be at Kroger supermarkets to collect food donations and deliver them to local food banks and pantries.

September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide effort to increase awareness and inspire community initiatives to end hunger in America.

Forty-four million people in the U.S., including 1 in 5 children, are not sure where their next meal will come from.
