Tasty Hands provides African & Caribbean inspired eating experience to remember

By Okon Ekpenyong

Columbus-based but African-inspired, Tasty Hands Restaurant, is one of the best places to eat in the Columbus area. They offer good food and excellent customer service, and the staff is always willing to explain what is on the menu in detail.

It has that mixture of Caribbean, African, and soul food, especially the Jerk Chicken. It is reasonable in price, and the plate comes in huge portions, so do expect to take some home.

You will find Grilled or Fried Tilapia, Grilled Lamb, Curry Goat with Rice and Beans, Cassava Leaves, and other delicious choices on the menu.

If you are a vegetarian, there are plenty of side dishes like plantain, Beans & Rice, Salad, and much more available to fulfill your taste buds.

“Tasty meal, adequate and well-cooked,” Deba Uwadiae, publisher of the New Americans, said.

Tasty Hands Restaurant is not too spicy nor too mild. Their popular item, Jerk Chicken with Plantain and Jollof rice, will have you saying this is just what the doctor ordered.

They are off the corner of Karl Rd and E Dublin Granville Rd in Columbus, Ohio. And they are open Sunday through Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm.
