Student Aid: FAFSA opens Oct. 1

Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted has announced the opening of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA, on October 1, 2020.

“All students, high school seniors, current students, and adults interested in attending or returning to college should complete the FAFSA,” said Lt. Governor Husted.

“Each year, Ohio families miss out on available financial aid because they don’t complete the FAFSA.

It is estimated that approximately 39 percent of students eligible for financial aid do not currently complete the FAFSA.”
